Seize the day! DA is proud to announce Disney’s Newsies as our summer musical…

Based on true events, Newsies follows the story of young Jack Kelly, as he and the other newsboys of New York City boycott the newspaper publishing company, demand they be treated fairly, and fight for what is right. Every camper will be cast in this energetic musical!  Campers will spend the majority of their camp days in rehearsals learning choreography, blocking, and music for performances at the Bangor Opera House on July 26th, 27th & 28th.  

NEW THIS YEAR! Camp will last for FIVE weeks and will be the only fully- produced show done by DA summer 2024. Join in the fun Carryin’ the Banner and become Kings of New York onstage! Camp will be held at the Bangor Opera House and 51A Main Street.
