Casting

PTC is pleased to announce General Auditions for our 2026/2027 Season!  Auditions will be held in Bangor and Portland. General Auditions in Bangor will be held on Saturday, May 16th from 10am to 6pm at 131 Main St. 

Everyone is welcome. For the auditions please prepare either:

• Two contrasting 1 minute monologues 

OR 

• One monologue and 16 bars of a song.

We will have professional accompaniment available. Please bring sheet music, in your key, with your 16 bar selection clearly marked. We welcome all performers age 12 and up.

The Mainstage shows are: On Golden Pond, Broomstick, The Book Club Play, The Mallard, and Birds of North America. The Holiday and Summer shows will be announced at a later date.

Play Submission Policy

We are happy to accept submissions, particularly for plays focused on Maine, or written by Maine-based playwrights.  Please send synopsis, development history and a ten-page sample to Jen Sheperd, Artistic Director.
