
Private Voice Lessons
DA is proud to present private voice lessons taught by DA Resident Music Director, Rob Laraway! A one-on-one class for those looking to improve their singing skills, lyrical interpretation, and pitch recognition. Students ages 7 through adult are welcome to join. Students will work one-on-one with Rob once a week in one-hour lessons and are held in person at 51A Main Street, Downtown Bangor.
Tuition is paid monthly (equivalent to 4 lessons). Time slots are first-come first-served.
About the Instructor: Rob Laraway is a musician and music educator from Orono, ME. He studied music education and philosophy at the University of Maine, has taught private music lessons for 10 years, and is in his 8th year as Music Director for both Old Town United Methodist Church and Stillwater Federated Church. He is a regular improviser and performer in the Bangor region for events and local arts festivals, presenting a blend of Irish, Acadian, jazz, and original folk tunes, and accompanies ballroom dance classes at the Wilson Center for Spiritual Exploration and Multifaith Dialogue. He has music-directed two musicals with PTC Dramatic Academy, and most recently had a blast directing the music for DA’s Summer 2023 production of The Spongebob Musical!
