Campers will learn about the design process for costumes and props from PTC Resident Props Designer, Thomas Demers, and Wardrobe Apprentice, Anna Kate Mason.  Everyone will have the opportunity to create costumes and props from scratch that relate to a well known children’s book.  Campers will bring their creations home at the end of the day.  A perfect day for campers interested in the magic of backstage!

Thomas Demers is a born and raised Mainer and has been a part of PTC since his mainstage debut in Matilda The Musical in 2019. Since then he’s played Percy Jackson in DA’s production of The Lightning Thief, worked with DA as a props designer and assistant stage manager.  He was last seen on stage at PTC in 2024’s Rocky Horror Show!  Thomas is the Resident Props Designer creating beautiful properties throughout the PTC Mainstage Season.

Anna Kate Mason joined the PTC team this season at the Wardrobe Apprentice. She was the costume designer for DA’s productions of Alice in Wonderland, She Kills Monsters and School House Rock LIVE! JR.
