Great Balls of Fire

December 31, 2019

Ring in the New Year with a tribute to the original bad-boy of rock-n-roll, Jerry Lee Lewis. Backed by a five-piece band, New York’s Jason Cohen returns to the Bangor Opera House stage as Lewis, an icon he has brought to life in nearly 80 cities across North America. Penobscot Theatre Company audiences will remember Jason’s “dangerously explosive” piano skills from the 2017 production of MURDER FOR TWO, where he played upside down, blindfolded and backwards.

Backed by a five-piece band, GREAT BALLS OF FIRE is a theatrical concert featuring over 20 hits including “Hound Dog”, “Mean Woman Blues”, “That’ll Be the Day”, “Lonesome Tonight” and of course “Great Balls of Fire”. This electrifying act will have audiences shakin’ and dancin’ straight into the new year!
