Summerin’ with Shakespeare: Acting Outside!

A Shakespeare focused workshop

Dates: Session 1: June 21-July 9th  Session 2: July 19th-Aug 6th

Program Duration: Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 4pm. 3 weeks total with a final 

Performance for friends and family on July 9 at 4pm. Performance for second session: Aug 6th at 4pm

Program Description: Students ages 8-18 will attend sessions in a local park (location TBD) in the Bangor area for a daily 3 hour workshop in acting basics. Students will also work closely with a play from Shakespeare’s cannon for the three week program, culminating in the performance for a select audience of friends and family. 

Tuition:Tuition $200 each session.  Registration will be limited to 15 participants per session.


A virtual musical and musical theatre intensive!

Dates: June 21 – July 22nd

Program Duration: Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm 

Students (ages 10-18) will have the opportunity to take daily workshops in acting, voice and dance with Joseph Cullinane of the Joffrey Ballet. Participants will also participate in rehearsals of a new version of Cinderella that will be professionally edited and available to stream on the Penobscot Theatre Website. 

Tuition: $400.  Registration will be limited to 30 participants

Little Story-Tellers

An Interactive virtual story time

Dates: Session 1: June 22nd-July 8th Session 2: July 20th-Aug 5th

Program Duration: Tuesday and Thursday from 11am to 11:30 am. 

Program Description: Students age 4-7 will attend sessions through Zoom. They will explore the basics of acting by participating in the exploring of a different picture book each session. Students will act out the plot of the book as it is read to them.

Tuition: Tuition $50 each session. Registration will be limited to 5 participants per session.
