DA is proud to present private voice lessons taught by our resident musical director Rob Laraway! A one on one class for those looking to improve their singing skills, lyrical interpretation and pitch recognition. Students ages 7 through adult are welcome to join. Lessons will meet once a week for one hour on Saturdays at 51A Main. Tuition is paid monthly with the opportunity to reregister from February through June. About the Instructor: Rob Laraway is a musician and music educator from Orono, ME. He studied music education and philosophy at the University of Maine, has taught private music lessons for close to 9 years, and is in his 7th year as Music Director for both Old Town United Methodist Church and Stillwater Federated Church. This year, he gave two performances in Orono’s Artsapalooza Festival, presenting a blend of Irish, Acadian, and original folk tunes, and in the Spring he performed an hour of music and stories entitled Songs of Conscience. He’s a frequent performer and accompanist at the Wilson Center for Spiritual Exploration and Multifaith Dialogue, and more recently, he had a ton of fun directing the music for PTC Dramatic Academy’s Fall 2022 production of Dear Edwina Jr.!
