Penobscot Theatre Company strives to ensure an outstanding experience for every member of our audience. Our house manager and volunteer ushers stand ready to help you find your seat, direct you to the restroom, or assist you as needed. Please exercise the following courtesies as you join our audience, and let us know how we can serve you better.
Arrive on time.
Late seating can be extremely disruptive to both audience members and performers so those who arrive after the start of a show may be required to wait until intermission to enter. Admission will be granted at the discretion of the house manager.
Theatre seats are close together to encourage a positive group experience. Please refrain from wearing any fragrances as those around you may be sensitive.
Turn off or silence all cell phones and other electronic devices before the performance begins, and refrain from talking, whispering, humming, or singing along with the show, except when encouraged to do so by the performers. People of all ages who are deemed disruptive during a performance will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
Photography, video recording and audio recording are not allowed in the theatre.
Except in emergency, stay in your seat during the performance and wait for intermission to stretch, purchase snacks, or use the restroom.
Clean up after yourself.
We are proud of our historic home and want to preserve it. You can help by removing your trash at the end of the performance.
Thank you and enjoy the show!
