Northern Writes Festival
The 7th Annual Northern Writes Festival has completed.
Thank you to all who participated as audience members, actors, directors, readers and most importantly as playwrights.

Prizes were awarded to Hal Borden of Philadelphia, PA for his short play, A Position of Relative Importance and to Mike Kimball of Portland, ME for his full-length play Duck and Cover
We are pleased to announce that the 40th Anniversary Season includes a full production of a 2010 Northern Writes play, One Blue Tarp by Travis Baker.
Northern Writes is currently not accepting additional new work.
Submission Policies
Playwrights wishing to submit new work:
Maine based playwrights may submit plays year round to be read on a rolling basis.
Playwrights
who currently live elsewhere, but who have plays based in Maine or
concerning Maine should send a brief synopsis of play to bari@penobscottheatre.org
All other submissions are by agent submission or request only.
